Community Guidelines

Last updated: 29 July 2026

Draft. This document is structured copy awaiting review by a qualified legal professional. It is not legal advice. Do not rely on it as a final statement of terms.

Mynd Domains is built by students, for students — and trusted by developers. These guidelines describe how we treat each other so this stays a place worth building in. They apply alongside our Terms of Service.

Who this is for

This is a home for students, developers, researchers, indie hackers, and creators — especially those early in their journey. Whether it's your first subdomain or your fiftieth, you belong here.

What we expect

We expect every builder to:

  • Be kind and constructive. Disagree on ideas, not on people.
  • Credit others' work and respect open-source licenses.
  • Help newcomers. You were new once too.
  • Build in public and share what you learn.
  • Respect privacy and consent in everything you publish.

What we don't allow

The following will result in subdomain suspension or removal:

  • Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or content that exploits or harms minors.
  • Illegal content, including content that infringes intellectual property.
  • Malware, phishing, spam, or automated abuse.
  • Doxxing or sharing others' private information without consent.
  • Impersonation of other people or organizations.

Your subdomain

Your subdomain is your corner of the internet. Build something you're proud of. We don't review content before it goes live, but we act on reports. If your subdomain is reported and found to violate these guidelines, we'll reach out and, where possible, give you a chance to fix it before taking it down.

How we enforce

Reports are reviewed by the Mynd Labs team. Depending on severity, we may: issue a warning, require changes, temporarily suspend, or permanently remove a subdomain. Serious violations (e.g. harm to minors, malware) result in immediate removal. We aim to be fair, transparent, and consistent.

Reporting

If you see something that violates these guidelines, email us with the subdomain and a brief description. We take every report seriously and review it as quickly as we can.

How these evolve

As the community grows, these guidelines will grow too. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and listen to feedback from builders before making material changes.
