The service

Mynd Domains provides free subdomains to students, developers, and creators so they can claim a corner of the internet and build in public. The service is offered at no cost, subject to these Terms and our available capacity.

Eligibility

Mynd Domains is open to students, developers, researchers, and creators. You must provide accurate information on your application and be able to form a legally binding agreement (or have a guardian's consent if you're a minor).

Subdomain applications

Applications are reviewed by our team, typically within 24 hours. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or reclaim subdomains that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. Subdomain labels must follow RFC 1035 (lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens; 1–63 characters).

Acceptable use

You agree not to use your subdomain or the service to:

• Host illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
• Distribute malware, spam, or phishing pages.
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate others.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
• Resell or transfer your subdomain without our written consent.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you publish at your subdomain. You are responsible for it and for ensuring you have the rights to publish it. You grant Mynd Labs a limited license to display and route traffic to your subdomain as needed to operate the service.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or remove a subdomain that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, with notice where possible. You may relinquish your subdomain at any time by emailing us. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as limitations of liability) remain in effect after termination.

Disclaimer

Mynd Domains is a free community service provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we may change features or availability at any time. Use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mynd Labs and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Because the service is free, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use it — i.e., nothing.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify active subdomain holders. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
